Steven worked for me at The Star Inn, an award winning  14th century thatched Pub in the depths of the North Yorkshire countryside for a couple of years and his time here seemed to change his look on culinary life! Coming from the fine dining lifestyle of Three star Michelin plush restaurants to our wayward inn on the edge of the moors couldn’t be a bigger change but the fact that we have a fabulous pantry of food literally on our doorstep and allow the seasons to write our menus I think somehow this helped him feed his ambition to eventually open his own establishment and to combine the two so diverse experiences to become a reality which is now The Oxford Blue!
